Meet the Owners

Hi! We’d like to share a little about us. Steve was born in Wyoming and raised in Phoenix. He has an adventuresome spirit, which brought him to the state of Alaska, where he met his lovely wife Marylu. There they started a family and have two wonderful children. Marylu was born and raised in Alaska and worked as a dental assistant for many years. Our daughter Emilie is an animal lover! She is also great at riding a unicycle and loves baking special treats for our guests. Our son Stephen is a very social person, who enjoys talking to new people, and has a tender heart. We enjoy fishing, and spending time with our children and dogs. As the new proprietors of the Blue Ridge Motel, Cabins, and RV park we strive to make your stay here a safe and pleasurable experience. We look forward to meeting you!
